In the 2nd inning of an Ole Miss beatdown of Alcorn, Peyton Chatagnier drew a full count walk. While contemplating stealing 2nd Base, Alcorn pitcher Jamaal Green attempted to pick Chatty off. Chatagnier, who was going on the pitcher’s first movement, took off and slid into 2nd Base ahead of the relay throw from 1st to 2nd. When he realized nobody was covering 3rd Base, he jumped up and took off again. After a close play at 3rd, Chatagnier decided he wasn’t done yet and started breaking for the plate. The run scored easily and Chatagnier is credited with 3 SB on the play.
