Monday, the Princeton Tigers finished up a series with the Richmond Spiders.
The game was relatively slow-paced for the first eight innings before Princeton started to come alive in the 9th.
The Tigers plated two runs off mistakes by Richmond before Nadir Lewis pimped the absolute hell out of a ball to take an 8-6 lead. All of which came with two outs, by the way.
Then, Princeton couldn’t close the deal in the bottom of the ninth, as a two-run shot.
Richmond then hit a game-winning single to win the game.
Wow, what an exciting finish that was for the last 30 minutes.
