Collegiate Baseball deemed two SEC teams as worthy of a top 5 ranking this week, those two teams being Vanderbilt and Tennessee. The Vols had a strong weekend despite losing their first game and Vandy swept a Hawaii team that was starting to make a splash by a combined score of 27-3.
CB’s newest rankings were not kind to some, including Georgia and Mississippi State (who was left off the list completely). On the other hand, they did not find Florida’s series win over Miami to be very impressive, as the Gators only move up three spots.
