The Vols starting 9 is set for Game 1, as the Tennessee Volunteers take on the Texas A&M Aggies.
Take a look here:
What to watch for:
Max Ferguson- Max has struggled hitting in SEC play this year, but in recent games he has strung together multiple hits including 2 HRs. Watch for Max to break out this weekend.
Evan Russell- Russell is coming off a record setting weekend, becoming the first Tennessee player to have multiple 3 HR games in a single season. Can Evan continue his hot streak against a struggling Aggie bullpen?
Liam Spence- The Aussie has been limited to the DH role in past weeks due to a hamstring injury. He returned to the field in Tennessee’s midweek matchup against Tennessee Tech, and takes the field again tonight. Spence has been the most consistent bat in the lineup all season. Ranking #1 in the SEC for on base percentage (.528), #1 in the SEC in walks (33), and #3 in the SEC in batting average (.375). Spence will get on base, but will the Vols have enough help to drive him in?
