Alabama ace Connor Prielipp is set to make his return this weekend vs Auburn according to D1 Baseball’s Kendall Rodgers. Prielipp has been sidelined since making his season debut on February 19th with an undisclosed injury. But it appears he will be back in action this Saturday when the Tide host Auburn in a pivotal SEC Series this weekend. Prielipp is yet to yield a run in his Alabama career and having him back now is critical for Alabama who is trying to get in a regional for the first time since 2014. Bama has not made the SEC Tournament since 2016 but getting Prielipp back will go a long way and ending both of Alabama’s post season droughts. Even if Prielipp is on a strict pitch count which I strongly think he will be this really helps the bullpen for Alabama. Prielipp is Alabama’s ace and no matter how you slice it having him back now is huge for the Crimson Tide.
