With most every major college baseball program turning to wearing patriotic uniforms on Sundays, count the Nebraska Cornhuskers as the latest to unveil such a uniform. Today, while hosting the Minnesota Gophers, the Huskers wore the new threads-and boy did they look sharp.
The red an white defeated the Gophers 10-2 in their new gear in a dominant performance. Currently sitting at 11-4 while only playing a Big 10 schedule, they got 10 strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work from Shay Schanaman in his home debut.

The uniforms are the typical Husker red with am American flag patch on the right chest and Nebraska spelled out in a cursive font featuring an American flag coloring. On the left sleeve they feature a Nebraska shaped patch in white with a capital N in the center in red They are made by Adidas. They are accompanied by white pants with a red stripe down the side and a red belt. Have a look!!!! They are definitely sharp!!!!
