Texas offense stays hot and Ty Madden was dominated

Tonight Texas offense continues to stay hot 11 runs on 7 hits BYU pitching walked 11 batters. It’s a different team what we saw in Arlington at the State Farm Showdown. Last 2 games 26 runs in 16 innings last 2 games. They are more aggressive at the plate then waiting for their pitch to hit and more discipline at the plate and not swinging at everything. Texas got it going in the 1st inning Zach Zubia with a inside the park home run to make it 3-0 Texas. Bottom of the 2nd Cam Williams with a 2 RBI double, Melendez with 2 RBI single to 7-0 Texas. After a few scoreless innings in the 6th inning Williams grounded to 2nd Antcio scored on the play, Melendez with another 2 RBI single 10-0 Texas at that point. Bottom of the 7th Texas adds to the lead with a sac fly from Douglas Hodo to make it 11-0 Texas. BYU would get a run in the 9th then a fly out would end the game.

After a rocky first start against Miss St tonight Ty Madden was dominated tonight all his pitches was working and kept the BYU hitters off balance. Ty went 7 innings allowing one hit no runs allow one walk striking out 11.

Texas looks get over .500 tomorrow in the series finale against BYU first pitch at 3:00. Hook’em🤘🏻🐂

  1. Why no reports on the TTexas TTech Red Raiders?

I subscribed as an alum of the school and expected if you are covering other Texas teams; you would cover all of them in the Big 12?

    Please reply…

    In appreciation,

    Ken Furman

    • I just cover Texas baseball. I can start covering other Big 12 schools and on Sundays I can start a Big 12 recap of the week.
