It’s almost time for baseball to return to the Classic City. After COVID-19 robbed the Bulldogs of a potential Omaha berth in 2020, Georgia will look to pick up where it left off in 2019.
Although starting aces Emerson Hancock and Cole Wilcox opted to go to the MLB, the Dawgs have still recruited well enough to make some noise again in the SEC.
Thursday, the highly anticipated 2021 schedule appears to have leaked on GeorgiaDogs.com …
The home slate is highlighted by single games against Clemson and Georgia Tech in the non-conference portion of the schedule, while SEC play includes visits from Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, Auburn and Ole Miss.
Although the Dawgs have a challenging plate on their hands, they should be able to pick up plenty of wins in non-conference to contend for a postseason berth yet again.
